PVN restructuring and reorganization: Substantial, streamlined and efficient
(VEN) - The restructuring and reorganization of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN) has breathed new life into its operations. The streamlining of its organizational structure and the defining of clear responsibilities for each individual and each division has helped promote self-discipline and prevent stagnation at work.
HIP turbines installed at Song Hau 1 Thermal Power Plant
(VEN) - The high and intermediate pressure (HIP) turbines of the first generating unit at the Song Hau 1 coal-fired power project were installed successfully on November 12 in the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang, according to the project’s management board.
PVN supports over VND250 billion for the poor
(VEN) - Individuals and organizations across the country donated nearly VND3 trillion (US$129 million) to the fund for the poor and the social security program. The donations will first be used to build houses for the poor in underprivileged areas, especially areas hit by floods. They will also be used to buy clothes for poor children and elderly people in mountainous and remote areas.
